This group will meet monthly starting in September. Please note that regular attendance is required in order to ensure continuity of the discussion.
Course Description
Dr. Porder will lead a monthly seminar for advanced candidates and members on clinical technique. Like the Kris Study Group which ran for decades, this course will involve examination and discussion of clinical work presented by participants in the group. Relevant readings will be assigned periodically.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
1. discuss the variability in psychoanalytic approaches.
2. identify when certain technical interventions are most useful.
