Courses offered through NYPSI’s Extension Program serve as an introduction to psychoanalytic theory or as additional resources to clinicians who wish to expand their knowledge.  These courses present opportunities for study at various levels and depths. Many of our courses are interdisciplinary, including psychoanalytic explorations of literature and other humanities, as well as psychoanalytic approaches to aspects of psychotherapy practice.  They are taught by NYPSI members as well as invited guests and are open to the general public.
