The Psychoanalytic Fellowship is a one-year program designed to introduce participants to modern psychoanalytic theory and practice. The Fellowship serves the needs of students who are not currently in psychoanalytic training and wish to have more exposure and understanding than could be had from the curricula at their training programs, in order to broaden their understanding of what psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic training can offer, and help inform their future decisions about pursuing formal psychoanalytic training.

Fellows attend two monthly seminars which are conducted on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during the academic year. In one seminar, invited analysts from our faculty present their own analytic case material and then join the class to discuss the case. In the other seminar, psychoanalytic principles beginning with Freud and including current theoretical approaches are taught using readings and discussion. Classes are held virtually on ZOOM.
